  1. What to read for a wonderful – if you’re in the business of any size and exposed in any way, if a CEO, new user, or discontinued at any time in the world, you must understand at least a portion or all of these book. Fortunately, Claude Roeltgen captured the essence of the IT world and its exciting potential, our life and its bad side processes that lead complex friction and discontent can improve. He did everything that others have noted with humor and knowledge complete opening, but has always maintained in an easily understandable.

The two sides of business and IT (CIO) side of the experience of more than 50 years, I think, could I write most of my shots Auto-biography with passages from the book. From first to last paragraph, I found a soul mate.

Having hired and supervised a number of computer scientists, many skip school, I highly recommend you read this in its entirety. It may help in the career field exciting, evolving IT through better understanding of the difficulties that they “face and why the business side.

As for companies should contribute to a number of sections required reading for students of economics, and CEOs, new end-users, they live and work in an environment that includes permanent hardware, software and methods to help them achieve their business goals and objectives.

    THANKS CLAUDE!

This book is what I want to read all users. Specifically, the administration, but apparently not seize the tremendous complexity of the IT environment. For them, it’s often sweep “some keys on your keyboard and makes himself” mentality, both in terms of ease and speed.

Roeltgen Claude was the essence IT area covered and presents it in a way that is understandable and informative for non-technical reader.

Claude used excellent, relevant, and anecdotes often humorous life in Canada take the points he made this really makes you look to the next topic and the story.

Also, I found many ideas that I had not had the opportunity (or misfortune) to the experience gained so far in my career. I hope the time comes, I can reflect on this book because the knowledge acquired avoid reading from, and some wells heavy snowfall.

I recommend this book for those “I wonder what it all day” to do so, management business and also for those of us in the thick of the IT world. There is an abundance of information and great for experienced IT professionals as well.

  3. WOW Is this a word in the sense that reading this book is. As corporate director of information technology in the hotel industry, I was very impressed by this book very well. I never seem enough time to read books and think mainly IT books, but insightful in this book in the field of thin computing you wanted to avoid. I started reading this book at the right time, right from the beginning of a new project. I can only say it seems that everything in this book for me while the application is going. It’s hidden face sheds light on the right for a project. Everyone seems to think the project still going perfectly, but is looking for them, to put it behind a metal and glass. I have a project that has 100% to find a team. Reading this book helps to explain why a project does not go as well as everyone thinks it should. As the title suggests, it raises a dependency “Light”. I always knew they were that person, simply because you do not mean that you skip learning the ins and outs of the company’s business in which you work. The book also includes the business side of the project first. As it is, where he is, he must go to apply for funding. Therefore, I recommend this book to my team, my boss and my colleagues. It is a very exciting book from beginning to end!

  4. As director of information technology (IT) for the Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU), I have a player in the computer industry for twenty years and more. During this tenure, I worked closely with a number of IT employees, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants. These professionals know their business technology – at least at the point of yesterday’s press release last technology white paper or Claude Roeltgen book is the face hidden.

This is a very different situation for non-IT, the unexplained – what we call “users”. Claude Roeltgen premise of the book is that “IT users” should involve the entire IT solution, adding they should have a better understanding of IT professionals to reduce the speech technology and to help educate the public about what is really everyone involved in delivering an IT solution.

The book is the hidden face is a well written book that explains clearly in simple language the many facets of IT in a sequence that allows the reader to wrap his mind around the whole of IT, if the users, it should read, it is unlikely. Users of the IT could read, if we take professional Claude consultation and communication with our users. Under the heading descriptions of UN-Claude complicated information technology and processes, the reader a simple and direct explanation that I m ‘Wait certainly help me to better communicate with my IT intended users.

If you are with the old shoemaker taught: “We can do things quickly, cheaply and well. pick two. ” I recommend Claude Roeltgen book, cope without reservation is a must for your hidden why users can not choose both.

Basically, I’m not really attracted to technical books. That is why I hesitated to read it. After a first glance, and two other chapters, I realized, finally, an author from the simple (but brilliant) idea to describe in simple terms, what it really is every day, everywhere, had at any time. Other examples and anecdotes are presented with much humor, so you do not remember, time flies.

Finally a book that tries to explain technical details when it comes to information technology avoids. So a book that you understand, if a technician and if you’re not.

The author never seems to be tempted by it, boring, or too theoretical. As if he was simply telling a bedtime story, it looks just like what all these people who are in the “IT” did all day. No great slogans (“It is very difficult,” too complicated “, the solution to all problems,” etc., etc.), the only comprehensive, structured images of facts and explanations added, only when he wrote this book his parents, who had wondered for years: “My son, what you really do all day at work? Please explain again!”
